Leominster Mayor Dean Mazzarella Conducts Meeting By Himself, Starts Heroic Crusade To Reopen Schools After School Committee Walks Out On Parents Sharing Concerns About Remote Learning

Elected leaders everywhere are afraid to open up because they are cowards and don’t wanna get blamed if a spike in commie cold cases happens, as if that matters. Cases are irrelevant if people aren’t dying like they were before. I’ve been waiting for someone with balls to come along and do the right thing by reopening schools and standing up to the bullies running the teachers union who are holding parents and children hostage over an irrational fear of a virus. Turns out that leader was Leominster Mayor Dean Mazzarella.

Two months ago Leominster became the first school district in the state to vote for full remote learning to start the year. All 5 of the members in the majority 5-4 decision had one thing in common – none of them have kids. One just graduated from Worcester State and knows nothing about anything.

Leominster is a working class city. In the two family homes most parents work, and in the single Mom or Dad homes the breadwinners have had to lose their jobs to accommodate “remote learning.” More problematic is that remote learning is child abuse. We’ve been chronicling your stories and the effect it’s had on your children because no one else will report the truth. Last night at the Leominster School Committee meeting parents were invited to come in and tell their stories, and they were powerful. There was just one problem though – the School Committee walked out while parents were telling their stories because they had a “workshop” to go to.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more tone deaf, soulless group of individuals than those people who walked out. They spit in the faces of parents in Leominster and made it abundantly clear that they simply do not give a flying fuck about your grownup problems. They certainly don’t give a flying fuck about your kids, that’s for sure.

But Dean Mazzarella kept going anyway, by himself for two hours. Story after story from the taxpayers, all of them negative. The School Committee just couldn’t be bothered to hear them because that would require confronting reality. I have no idea what was going on at this “workshop” but it wasn’t as important as listening to these voices. Every single member who walked out should be voted out. Especially Michael Stessen.

“I think part of the reason Leominster is doing well is because so far, we have stayed remote,” school committee member Michael Stassen said.

Oh fuck off you self righteous bag of cunny juice. Leominster isn’t “doing well” if the children of Leominster aren’t in school. That’s like saying that your murder rate is down because no one goes outside anymore. If you quantify “doing well” as number of cases, then of course you’re gonna have less cases if you stay in your homes and hide. The point is that the cost of that isn’t worth it based on the testimonials from parents that he refused to listen to.

Meanwhile, Mazzarella, who has been the Mayor of Leominster since the beginning of time, isn’t taking his foot off the pedal. He rightfully declared remote learning a public health crisis and is taking active steps to get around the School Committee and get the kids out of remote learning.

But that didn’t stop the mayor from declaring the downsides of remote learning as a public health crisis and he is pledging to find places in the coming days — like the Boys and Girls Club — where kids can go and get their lessons — with adult supervision.

“If we have to rent space, we’ll rent space but help is on the way,” Mazzarella said.

He’s spent most of the day on Facebook, doing live shows, sharing petitions, and pointing out the reality of remote learning on working families.

And by and large the parents are overwhelmingly receptive of this. Sure, you get some of this from teachers.

Boo hoo. I’m sick of hearing how hard this is for teachers. You’re getting paid your full salary. Parents aren’t. The teachers I do feel bad for are the many quality educators out there who want to return to school but are being silenced by Merrie Najimy and the union that takes their money, throws it at Ed Markey, and gets nothing in return for it.

Over 70% of parents in Leominster voted to return to school months ago. It would be more now. All of the elected leaders besides the Mayor ignored them, forgetting who they work for when they walked out.

But the Mayor is incredibly popular for doing this and more leaders should have the courage and leadership he’s displaying. I’d even call his crusade heroic. He just showed Mayors everywhere that it’s OK to stand up for the kids. Opening the schools is a winning political issue, and one that cuts across party lines. Often it’s portrayed as if republicans have to favor reopening while democrats want lockdowns forever. But Mazzarella is a democrat and he just showed that doing what’s best for the kids and their parents is more important than being the teacher’s union’s bitch.

Amazing to me that people unaffected by remote learning are the ones making decisions on remote learning. That they care so little about the demographic they represent – children – that they can just ignore the pleas of their parents. WTF?

Hey you see all those news stories on all the new treatments like remdesivir, proning, and the use of apnea machines in lieu of intubation? Me neither! Did you know that if you are under 75 years old you have a less than one percent chance of dying from covid if you catch it? It’s much less dangerous than pneumonia. You didn’t hear it on the news? Didn’t Charlie Parker mention it on one of his no questions allowed pressers? I mean on at least one? How many times has he stood there and droned about stages and sub stages? Like he has stood there every day 180 fucking times without referring to death rates. Aren’t death rates the fucking point of destroying economies in the first place? Bueller?

The school committee and superintendent need to resign, they are not qualified or suitable for those positions. Their hatred for Leominster and the welfare of the kids is obvious. We can do much better than this Leominster , let’s get the qualified candidates our children deserve, they are out there we just need a better screening and hiring process.

Agreed , school committee and superintendent are a joke. Looks like a circus act. You have the bearded lady with the 2 min stop clock , the kid with the hoop earrings that looks like the sword swallower , the blond Girl Scout That looks like she ate all the cookies instead of selling them , the creepy older dude that prob lured kids in his white van with candy , and the superintendent that looks like she should be selling Mary Kay. Absolute joke.

School Superintendents and Committees functions include setting curriculum guidelines and school policies.
      Two examples of this are:
The methods of teaching Math that have most high school graduates unable to make change at a cash register.
      Critical Race Theory.

Recall the school board in Leominster. Now. How voters could vote for people with no vested stake in the school system is more people get the government they deserve.

    This just in:
Worried about Joe’s failing health, Mrs. Biden took Joe to the doctor yesterday. The doc preformed a battery of tests, cognitive, MRI, blood work, the whole nine. This morning the doc calls Mrs. Biden with the test results. “I have some bad news”, says the doc… “Joe has either Alzheimer’s or AIDS.” Confused, Mrs. Biden says, “Well… how will I know which one he has”? To which the doc replied, “Take him for a drive to the other side of town this weekend, drop him off and leave him there”. “If he finds his way back home… don’t fuck him”.

    Happy Debate Night 😉
