Last month we shared a rap video filmed by some hardos in Grafton High School and someone’s basement, and it was magnificent.
They’re called the Baker Cult, and unfortunately they took their videos down after they became Turtleboy famous. Apparently the leader of the cult (not sure which one) is a former valedictorian from the mean streets of G-Town. Some others in the group currently go to school there and got in trouble for filming teachers in class without their permission, and bragging about selling weed to their classmates. One of their mothers contacted us several times, asking us to take it down. She was a really nice, sweet lady so we’re not trying to blow up her spot, but we told her that we don’t take blogs down unless there are extenuating circumstances. Getting in trouble in school isn’t one of those.
Anyway, we definitely made the right move keeping it up, because they made a new rap video and this is how it ends:

Not sure if Grafton is the ideal place to shoot a hardo rap video about “running this town,” but they sure gave it a shot. They even found some graffiti

So much hardcore shit happens at the Grafton Gazebo – 5 mile road races, movie nights, concerts, doggie dip day, and even farmer’s markets. Shit gets real, so you best come strapped.
Anyway, I still take 860 Money Crew any day of the week, even though they hate Turtleboy too. At least those guys are grimy little boogers going nowhere in life. These kids are all probably going to WPI and have dreams beyond becoming world famous rappers. They’re not nearly as fun.

This sucks, per the usual local hip-hop videos… but did you ever think these youngsters threw in the “Fuck Turtleboy” thing – and hell, maybe they made the entire video – so you’d write a blog about it and give them & their friends a good laugh!? If that’s the case, you predictably went for the bait.
This blog has become so boring – have 3 or 4 people troll facebook all day and blog about the stupidest shit they find. It’s not that hard and it’s the laziest method for generating clicks. Why not hire a couple of real writers to focus on the political/socioeconomic stories that constitute real news and let the half-wits like SSTG and Feisty cover the facebook drama? A nice balance between the two would be ideal.

Gawd, I feel bad for their parents! I know kids reach an age when there is not a thing you can do to stop them from ruining their lives…BUT damn….lets be honest here. Either those kids snap out of this fast, or there is not going to be a pretty ending for all of these boys.
