Earlier in the day we wrote this blog about a North Attleborough senior who is being denied the right to play hockey his senior year because his guidance counselor told him to drop a class which ended up making him ineligible:
We published it sometime during the school day and sent it to the principal. I’m sure we weren’t the only ones to contact him since all he had to do was sign a stupid waiver and let the kid play.
And what do you know? Within hours the Superintendent went over everyone’s head and made the principal sign the form. And now Paul Baker gets to play hockey his senior year. Glad to help. The Turtleboy Sports Revolution is real, and it is an unstoppable force of nature. Don’t. Poke. The. Turtle. Congrats kid.

Funny how the local rag, the Attleboro Sun Chronicle, never even picked up on this story. But that’s their MO. Print nothing that might be investigate or controversial to local goverment
Steve Nowack (pronounced Novack) was a Marine private on the USS Franklin aircraft carrier during WWII. The Franklin was bombed and was very badly damaged. Two Medals of Honor were given out to 2 officers. One of the officers saved perhaps 300 lives, the other officer saved perhaps 35 lives. Private Nowack was very familiar with the ship since he had been a firewatch, and he saved 300 lives as well, but he only got the Navy Cross and a promotion to Corporal. President Harry Truman, Democrat, gave out the Medals of Honor to the officers, but no Medal of Honor to Marine Nowack. As far as I know, Mr. Nowack is still alive.
The Telegram wrote about the 2 officers, but ignored Marine Nowack’s bravery. I wish the Worcester Telegram would open its eyes and treat equally all those who risk their lives equally for this nation regardless of rank.

Great Job Turtleboy. You know…it’s funny how all your detractors say this is a 3rd rate blog that nobody ever reads, but yet your stories always seem to get more of a reaction from the public than those so called “real news” outlets like the turdlegram.
Good, now Worcester magazine j lyford thought it was funny to compare a shithead gangbanger to a Christian Saint over naming a bench, yet he makes no mention of the bridge they named after Myra Kraft, they should of named a planned parenthood,or a shower,or a funeral parlor that does cremations after her, right josh it fits better. His editor is only good with attacking Christians so I had to give them some soap to clean themselves up.
Pat, I’d like to buy a vowel.
Chalk one up for the good guys… we need a lot more of these little victories, seems like they’re becoming all too rare
Yup. You have to win the skirmishes before you can win the war.
This is what Turtleboy is all about, the true definition of social justice. Bravo!
