It happened again…..
Yes, that’s right – thanks to the Michelle Carter verdict another young woman is being charged with manslaughter over words on a phone. It’s a long story you can read here, but the TL;DR is this South Korean student attending Boston College named Inyoung You (I swear to God, that’s her name), is your typical crazy girlfriend, engaged in a toxic relationship with this dude named Alexander Urtula who ended up killing himself, and now she’s facing charges for it.
And can we just take a moment to reflect on what an unfortunate name Inyoung You is? It sounds like reminiscing about the time you had a quarter shoved up your asshole as a child.
“I know you don’t currently have any blunt objects stuck up your gloryhole, but doctors found some weird shit Inyoung You.”
Ironically this is being prosecuted by Rachael Rollins, a woman who is refusing to prosecute 15 serious crimes and has outlawed ICE from courthouses. Now she’s going out of her way to charge a woman of color for….words. On a phone. And not only that, she says she’s going to extradite the chick if she doesn’t come back to the United States to face charges.
Fuck that. I hope the South Korea government stands tall on this one. I would be RIPSHIT if some foreign country demanded an American be sent to their land to face charges over mean text messages. Call America’s bluff.
More details will come out I’m sure, but for now we know that over 47,000 texts were sent from her, which Rollins describes as “physically, verbally, and psychologically abusive.”
She estimated that You explicitly told Urtula to kill himself hundreds, if not thousands, of times.
So what? This was my worry from the jump with the Michelle Carter verdict. I tell people to kill themselves all the time, but I only half mean it. Regardless, they’re just words. No one is making them go through with it. The Carter trial was fucked up because he texted her when he got second thoughts and she told him to stop being such a pussy and get back in the truck to gas himself.
But this story just seems like a crazy bitch he should’ve dumped a long time ago but kept around because everyone knows that crazy pussy is the best pussy:
According to Rollins, the text messages sent by You — 47,000 over the course of the two months — revealed that she had an “understanding that she had complete control over Mr. Urtula, both mentally and emotionally.
Oh, so it was like 95% of regular relationships.
“It also found that she was aware of his spiraling depression and suicidal thoughts brought on by her abuse. Yet, she persisted.”
I’m sure this woman is absolutely dreadful, and a true nightmare for any dude to deal with. But pretty much every dude reading this has dated a skag like this. Just dump them, block them, and move on with your life. No one forced him to stay with her.
The guy ended up jumping from a building, but she was up there with him. Again, I don’t know all the details. If she was up there telling him that he was a bitch if he wouldn’t jump, that would one thing. But it sounds like she heard he was suicidal and ran up to talk to him.
I miss the good ol’ days when individuals were responsible for their own life choices.
