Cape Cod Times: A former Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School student was arrested Monday for allegedly making a threat against the school through social media, according to a statement from the Yarmouth Police Department. Courtney Robinson-Matthews, 21, of Forestdale, who goes by “Koda” and identifies as male, pleaded not guilty in Barnstable District Court on Tuesday to making a threat, according to court documents.
Police received reports Sunday night about a threat to “shoot up the school” made through the mobile app Snapchat in a group chat called “capebeef,” according to the statement. Yarmouth detectives worked with school administrators and resource officers to investigate the threat, the statement says. A student went to a school resource officer last week and played him saved video clips from the Snapchat group that show Robinson-Matthews making threatening statements, according to a police report.
“Black trench coat, maybe some handguns, some AK’s,” he allegedly says in one of the videos. “I don’t (expletive) know. I’m just going to do this.”
Robinson-Matthews was released on his own recognizance and ordered to wear a GPS monitor, stay away from all schools and not possess any firearms, according to court documents. He is scheduled to return to court for a probable cause hearing Jan. 29.
I don’t know what’s more outrageous. A girl named Courtney who calls herself a dude named Koda, or the fact that there’s a Snapchat group called, “cape beef.”
You gotta be a pretty big loser to be 21 years old and still getting revenge on the local high school. Obviously this lovely creature is going places in life.

Detectives obtained a warrant Monday morning and arrested Robinson-Matthews at a Sandwich residence that afternoon, according to the statement. Police maintained a presence at the school Monday. During an interview at Yarmouth police headquarters, Robinson-Matthews told police he intended to alarm people to see how many students would stay out of school but did not plan to carry out the violence, according to the statement. No weapons were found at the residence where he was arrested, Deputy Chief Steven Xiarhos said.
Oh yea, it was just a test. She was just doing a case study to see how many kid’s parents would keep their kids out of school for fear of getting shot. That’s way better.
Oh, and spare me the whole, “Turtleboy is transphobic for misgendering him.” First of all, Koda doesn’t have a penis. I’m not misgendering, you are. Secondly, when you threaten to kill kids in a high school then you don’t get to whine about getting misgendered.
Anyway, there’s been way too many threats against schools lately. It’s basically turned into a way to get the day off. There should be a new policy – if you threaten to blow up a school then you go to jail for life. These would end real quick. In the meantime schools should just carry on as usual, because no one who’s actually gonna shoot up the school is gonna tell you about it ahead of time. Just sayin.
