Turtleboy Is Collecting Gift Cards From Local Restaurants To Donate To The Family Of Worcester Firefighter Jason Menard After Napoli’s Deli Got The Ball Rolling

Turtleboy has a big platform and a lot of viewers, and as much as we all enjoy ratchet shaming, it’s also important to use our blog as a means for good. I’ve been thinking all morning about ways we can help the family of Worcester firefighter Jason Menard, who died last night trying to save the lives of a baby and his fellow firefighters. There are existing foundations you can donate to, and I’m sure many people will, so that’s taken care of. I’m more interested in helping Jason’s sister and her family get through the most difficult time of their life. The last thing anyone would wanna do after a tragedy like this are the mundane day to day things that we all do – cooking, cleaning, etc.

My plan is to pool together gift cards from the Shrewsbury-Worcester area for places that have takeout so the family can have one less thing to think about. I’ve gotten the ball rolling by contacting Napoli’s in Shrewsbury (I’ve never eaten there but people rave about it), who donated a gift card after I explained what my idea was. I’m asking for any local restaurant that wants to help their family get through this tragedy to donate a gift card as well. Please email me at turtleboysports@gmail.com if you’d like to participate. I am not running a registered charity here so I’m not going to collect or handle any money. I’m just here to keep it simple and use our platform to mobilize quick and easy support for this family. I will collect and gather as many as I can, give them to his sister, and let our readers know who stepped up for these fine people. If no other restaurants want to donate, that’s fine. If so I’ll buy the gift cards myself, and I’d encourage turtle riders to do the same. Hit me up on email or message Clarence Woods Emerson on Facebook.

Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting censored and banned by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. Maybe you should collect some money and use it for training the Worcester Fire Department. Based on the number of fatalities, it sounds like they could use some remedial training.

Congratulations T McT, amongst a plethora of downvoting scumbags, you have proven yourself to be the biggest cunt of the lot. Possibly the biggest cunt on the planet.

Kindly fuck off. I wish nothing but agony and misery upon your already pitiful existence. Cunt.

Should try to have a landscaping company help pick up leaves around the house. Few years back we had a company mow my lawn basically for free after my mother died. Yard work would suck in a time like this. Then also helping em shovel/plow out. I wish i were closer.
Don’t even need a company for that stuff, just nice community members.

Napoli is delicious. That greasy wop in the kitchen knows what he’s doing.

A spic refers to a Roman in Spain its slander against Italians,Portuguese,Spanish, plus many more. It’s like calling Iraqis,Syrians,Palestinians,or Israelis anti-semites when their all Semitic. People are very stupid because they think Bristol’s uncle has a clue. He don’t.

This is such a sad story. Breaks my heart. I contacted a few local restaurant’s for your generous cause. One place wishes for TB…ak…to call him and he WILL donate. The other’s I left pick-up instructions for Turtleboy or ak. I left a few messages, awaiting call backs with approval. Here is what I did get for LT. Jason Menards family for you.

-O’ Connors Restaurant on Boylston Street, Worcester ( contact name : Brendan O’ Connor) has generously donated $100 gift card.
-Yongs Chinese food in Auburn is going to have owner call me back. Very interested in helping.
    – Applebee’s in Auburn is going to donate a gift card but they want Unc to call him. His name is Dan Qawlak.
508.721.7817. He leaves shortly……but will be there open t’il 4 tomorrow.
I have 5 more establishments to call but they don’t open til 4:30. I will update any willing donators as I receive them here.
This is a great thing you are doing.
    Thank you.

Are you going to do this every time a public servant dies or gets injured? That’s awesome and you handling all of the gift cards for this family instead of going to them directly or the Fire Dept. makes total sense.
Looks like there’s more than one hero today, thanks for doing this.

Turtleboy, have you tried calling the Breadbowl Cafe? Maybe Hadassah would help you out.
