This Turtleboy has lived in Worcester his entire life, and we have NEVER seen a worse job plowing the roads than we did yesterday. It was a disgraceful abortion sandwich and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot. And please, spare me the “drive slower” routine. Everyone was driving slowly yesterday. You could be driving 5 mph, which we were on Airport Rd, and still get into several car accidents. Because the roads were untreated, not sanded, and unplowed.

Here’s our biggest beef – DPW commissioner Paul Moosey does NOT live in Worcester. He lives in a $400,000 house in Sturbridge. Here’s what he actually had the balls to tell the Telegram and Gazette last year:

“I understand there’s a perception there, but I don’t have any immediate plans to move. It’s difficult to move,” Mr. Moosey said.

“It’s difficult to move.” Yea, no shit. That’s why you get paid over $160,000 a year. Don’t like it? Then don’t take the job. You know what else is difficult? Driving on May Street during rush hour traffic when no one plows the roads:

12946974_154222488305612_601237905_o

He also said this:

“It’s not a deal-breaker to the manager whether I move into the city or not.”

Of course it’s not a “deal breaker” to Ed Augustus if he moves into the city. Because Ed is his boy. Moosey and Ed are protected by the McGovern Crime Family, which only a moron would think is not a real thing at this point.

Here’s what he said about the roads back in December when we had 60 car accidents in five hours:

“They’re all drivable. They’re a mess with slushy stuff on them. But, for the most part, they are not slippery. The type of sleety stuff we got last night isn’t like freezing rain, like a glare ice kind of thing. We haven’t really seen accidents or issues,” Mr. Moosey said late Tuesday afternoon.

Screen Shot 2015-12-28 at 1.20.12 PM

Of course he wouldn’t know what the roads are like since he lives in Sturbridge. Ed Augustus had to come out and publicly apologize for these comments because they were just that stupid. Yet he STILL has a job. Anyone else would have been fired by now. This is Paul Moosey:

Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 11.01.31 AM

Good God. It’s a cross eyed Mr. Feeny with a worse haircut. I used to rock that do back in 92 when my face was covered in acne and I assumed I was going to die a virgin. You’ll also notice that he’s a white guy in a suit. Ed Augustus, Joe Petty, Jim McGovern, and the rest of the progressive patrol talk a lot about how they’re working to reach out into communities of color. It’s why they spent over $100,000 per year to hire a new “chief diversity officer.” But at the end of the day the biggest threat to diversity in Worcester are McGovern, Petty, and Augustus who not only strictly hire their connected white boy friends, but they then KEEP THEM in those positions, despite the fact that they are clearly deserving of termination.

If this guy worked in the private sector he would’ve been canned a long time ago. Keep ind mind, the whole purpose of a City Manager system is to treat the public sector like the private sector. A professional manager who gets things done because he’s not a politician. But Joe Petty and crew brought in a connected Worcester professional politician in Augustus, and made him the City Manager. Moosey is HIS guy. Moosey’s failures are his own.

unnamed-19

Anyway, whoever runs the City of Worcester Twitter account is obviously another moron and liar:

HAHAHHAAHHAHAA. Bravo Justin G. Couldn’t have said it any better myself. Not a single truck was out treating the roads. Not one. That’s just a bold faced lie. Let’s look at some of the damage caused by these clowns:

Think about that. A Goddamn fire truck can’t get to a potential fire. And there isn’t a SINGLE plow out on the roads. The DPW admitted that. Yet the city says they’re out treating the roads. LIES. Paul Moosey is a danger. He is going to people someone killed. Like a bus full of children on Chester Street almost were yesterday:

Here’s a picture from Kenberma Ave. The bus circled on the right is a handicapped bus that is supposed to pick up a disabled passenger in the house circled on the left. It could not get there because the roads were untreated and unplowed per the orders of our DPW chief from Sturbridge

So why do we allow this? Simple. Because there are thousands of idiots in this city who will support Petty and Augustus no matter how bad they are. The worst amongst them is a woman named Nancy Smith. Just to show you what we’re dealing with from this diehard Petty/Hillary/Machine supporter, here’s what she said about the newest class of state troopers who were inducted last week:

Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 11.27.13 AM

Cops are white because of white privilege. This is how dumb of a person Nancy Smith is. Keep in mind Nancy lives on the West Side. For someone who claims to care so much about race, inclusion, and diversity, she purposely chooses to isolate herself from people of color by living in one of the whitest neighborhoods in Worcester. She admits that she’s never had a person of color over for dinner, nor does she have any in her circle of friends. In other words, she is a typical “do as I say, not as I do” fake, bullshit, West Side “progressive.” Here’s what she had to say about the plow job:

Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 10.48.10 AM

Oh look, Nancy can multiply. Hey Nancy, ya know why the median property tax in Holden and Shrewsbury is higher than in Worcester? Because homes are worth more there. And do you know why a four bedroom house in Worcester costs $150,000 less than it does in Shrewsbury? Because people don’t wanna send their kids to the Worcester Public Schools, and they don’t wanna drive on roads that aren’t plowed. So when your property is worth more, and your property taxes are a percentage of what your house is assessed at, then OBVIOUSLY the median property tax rate will be higher. Obviously. Our tax rate is higher than all of those towns though, it’s just that the property value here is worth less.

Regardless, there are more property owners in Worcester and consequently we should have more tax revenue to plow the roads. But we don’t. Know why? Because we throw money at people like Mosaic and chief diversity officers. These are the priority for people that Nancy Smith and Ed Augustus.

Oh and for the record, not a single one of those 500 miles of road in Worcester were plowed yesterday before buses started heading to school. And if you think that all these accidents are because of bad drivers, then you’re in bad company:

Screen Shot 2016-04-05 at 11.37.53 AM

If you ever find yourself agreeing with Nancy Smith, then you need to reevaluate your postion. Because she is wrong about everything.

Living in Sturbridge and making six-figures a year. Not bad, but nothing new around here. While traffic has a major cluster-f… ! Wonder how many cars were in accidents and people who were hurt. Because of this who-cares attitude about the snow !

TB ,your falling for City excuse that Dept. Heads residency will be a cure all. The City has all sorts of various so call expert opinion and reports on why this isn’t . They love for you to fall for that excuse ,so they can continue their pattern of excuses by getting more reports.

What a surprise…another liberal idiot on her soapbox, preaching about something she has no knowledge of! Just make up the facts, nobody will check or care! Sounds a lot like Senator Dianne Feinstein on her ignorant rant about gun control!! If Nancy wanted to be so righteous, and cave into the “white privilege” or “white guilt”, maybe she could relocate to Rodney Street or Dorchester Street.

Once again, I need to point out inaccuracies in her rant about the state police academy. There are plenty of police officers, both state and municipal who have come from “low income” or “impoverished” areas of the city. IGNORANCE!!! If a person wants something bad enough, they will overcome their obstacles, and strive to succeed!

TBS: Of course it’s not a “deal breaker” to Ed Augustus if he moves into the city. Because Ed is his boy. Moosey and Ed are protected by the McGovern Crime Family, which only a moron would think is not a real thing at this point.

Why would Ed Augustus care if Moosey lived in Worcester when Augustus doesn’t live in Worcester? The people should call for his resignation. Even though the winter was mild, almost every time it snowed, the DPW dropped the ball.

Gimme a fucking break. You can either do your job or you can’t. You either give a fuck or you don’t, it doesn’t matter where you live. You want to rant and rave about ‘murica, freedom and all the other bullshit, but you’re insinuating there should be a residency requirement? Should teachers be required to kluge in the city also?

And as far as State Police cadets? Ummmmmm, yeah, they do get paid during the Academy. No, not a hell of a lot, but they get paid. And their uniforms, gear, gun, etc? Ummmm, yeah, it’s all issued (with the exception of personal items), as it should be. Obviously that Nancy Ninny hasn’t a clue.

And its people like Nancy Smith who vote for the Pettys of the world and this is why Worc is such a joke. Nearly every town surrounding Worc canceled school, except for Worc. Funny how that works, yet here is Ms Uppity West Side, telling all us regular folk how we are all so wrong. White priv? Naw, West Side privileged indeed.

  • Moosey's crooked brown-eye
    April 5, 2016 at 1:15 pm

I travel all day for work. In and out of Worcester, Shrewsbury, Westborough, etc.
I get the roads being messy WHILE it is snowing.
But what is the excuse this morning? Twelve hours after it stopped snowing?

This morning, there is a line, when you cross the RT 9 bridge, that might as well be crossing into Moscow.
Plantation St, rather than the normal 4 total lanes, was down to 2 total lanes, each side with 2 ruts you had to drive in.
Grafton St was 2 lanes of ruts and traffic was moving at a crawl due to cars coming off of side streets and getting stuck in these ruts.
Jump on 290 and it is wet pavement but as soon as you exit on West Boylston St, it is back to the snow covered rutted road.

Show me a video if driving in Moscow and I will think it is Worcester

  • Wilson
    April 5, 2016 at 1:13 pm

What Nancy also missed is that Shrewsbury, et al, do not tax their businesses at 2 and 1/2 times the tax rate that they charge homes, so thI y have actual businesses there instead of hundreds of empty, former businesses that populate Worcester.

Pretty sure if you have 3x the roads but 3x the density (or 5x the roads but 5x the density), it’s all the same when the property tax per person is comparable. The roads should have comparable levels of care when the tax dollars aren’t wasted

There’s no residency requirement for his position, so he doesn’t have to live in this shit hole if he doesn’t want to.

There has been zero proof you are a resident yourself.

While it is snowing, the roads won’t be clear. If you think the roads are unsafe, DON’T GO OUT! That simple. But if that happened, Turtleboy would have nothing to complain about.

i drive for a living and drove during the storm it was very clear that the Worc roads weren’t taken care of, when you drive into Framingham, and there down to pavement, even a hick town like East Brookfield, was plowed better than the City of Worcester, if they didn’t cancel school, then there first priority should of been the safety of Our kids, and it wasn’t, its fine to say stay in if its bad… but the kids had to go out in it people work, maybe they get a kick back if theirs left over money in the snow budget… who knows but the second largest city in New England cant even plow the roads for the safety of the school children? how do you put a spin on that one…..
