We focus a lot on the neagative stories coming out of our schools, but we are firm believers that the Worcester Public Schools are filled with the next great leaders of the 21st century. Every year the WPS sends kids to great schools all over the country and they go on to do great things – like invent the Valentine’s Day card and the yellow smiley face.

So I guess tonight there was an award’s ceremony at Worcester Tech. I only know this because our Worcester State intern was emailed a video of a really bad ass kid who just became one of the most legendary turtle riders EVER by rocking his “I Am Turtleboy” shirt while walking across the stage and accepting his award:

See, this is the kind of kid who rides the turtle. We don’t have the gang bangers, delinquents, and pregnant 15 year olds. Those are Old Balls and Clive’s people. We got honor students. We got winners. Spanky McFarlane stands with the savages and the 20 year old sophomores who were just about to turn their lives arund. Turtleboy stands with the future leaders of America. Oh yea, and his name is Sam Houston. You pretty much bleed red, white, and blue if you’re named Sam Houston. We tip our hat to you tonight Sam Houston. Ride that turtle kid.

P.S. How bad do we wish Sam Houston was graduating last year and wore this shirt when he shook hands with Obama? #missedopportunities

Double P.S. If you do stuff like this you’ll probably be featured in a blog too.

Nobody’s surprised that TB holds appeal for adolescent males. After all, that’s the psycho-emotional age of the vast majority of Turtlebots.

Funny TurtleboySpurts, you don’t “ride the turtle” yet you read every blog posted & comment on just about every one of them too. If you don’t agree with TBS, then why do you read the blog DAILY???? Go troll somewhere else.

Well, unlike you, I have enough self-worth and sense of identity that I don’t need to seek out only that which I agree with. I’m sure you’d love me to go away, but your letting on that my disagreement makes small-minded, ignorant individuals such as yourself annoyed or uncomfortable is more likely to have the opposite effect, don’t you think?

      TBSpurts,

The psycho age of you Carlo-D-Balled-ego types is a lot lower.

It happens when you’re all still toddlers. Your voices never change and mature; always singing soprano.

A common occurence in the testicle-challenged.

Aw, Stevie Hambone, playing the ‘manly’ card. Typical bully bullshit. Overall though, that was a pretty weak comeback, even for you.
