Shaming Handicapped Parkers

WPRI News Parks In Handicapped Spot At Rhode Island College, Immediately Blocks Concerned Citizens Who Post About It On Their Facebook Page

Here’s another douche donkey parking in a handicapped spot at Rhode Island College.

The turtle rider who took the picture contacted WPRI about it on Facebook and was promptly blocked. We tried reaching out to them but have not received a comment back. It was actually taken a few months ago, but it’s absolutely outrageous that a news station would violate the sanctity of a handicapped spot like this, and then block a concerned citizen trying to blow the whistle on them. This is the exact opposite of what the media should be doing, and the irony is that they have no problem publicly shaming people who commit equally as egregious offenses. Feel free to see how long it takes you to get banned on WPRI’s Facebook page when you post a link to this blog.

So it’s true, they had to go with WPRI because the FCC said WPRICK was too long?

WRPI responded to me with the following.. WPRI does not condone parking in spaces designated as handicapped parking. This specific incident took place a few years ago, and the employee responsible was immediately disciplined for their actions.

It’s time to create a contest over this. Object is to see who can submit the most pictures of vehicles parked illegally in a handicapped spaces over a 24 hour period. In order to qualify for a proper violation submission must shop complete picture of license plate and a second picture of front windshield verifying that no placard is on display. Also a picture showing that the spot is designated for handicapped parking. Clear painted markings on payment and\or a sign visible on building of affixed to a pole\post.
Device used to take pictures should have the capability to show date and time in order to support a 24 hour period.
Disclaimer; not responsible for any injuries received as a result of verifying violations.

Several spelling and improper word usage in first post. Corrected comment below.
