The other day we blogged about how the Barre Board of Selectman had voted to fire Police Chief Erik Demetropoulos for being “too nice.” Still can’t over how hilarious it is that they actually paid some fat guy from a consulting firm to reach that conclusion. Can’t make this stuff up. Anyway, the people of Barre did what the people of Worcester did to Tracy Novick, the people of Westminster did to Andrea Crete, and the people of Spencer need to do to Kevin Hayes – vote out the bad guys:
Don’t know who Kathy Inman is, don’t care. All you need to know is she’s a moron who thinks that a police chief shouldn’t be allowed to be nice. She had to go. Let this be a message sent to politicians everywhere – citizens have the right to recall you. Just because you won an election doesn’t give you the right to be an dooshnozzle indefinitely. You actually have to do your job and not piss everyone off.
I’m not that familiar with Barre politics, but I think this makes the vote 2-1 against the chief. Hopefully though the other two dingbats get the message and they use their noodleheads to do the right thing.

Wtf,why won’t my posts on this go up?
How about looking into what happened to all of the property tax money that was allegedly stolen in Barre. The lack of oversight and safe accounting procedures is what allows these types of activities to take place.
I’ve been telling you to take a ride through this town for awhile now… and not the good section either, the dumpy part that used to be mill housing… kinda like Colrain – Worcester County edition. Definitely worth quite a few shame pics!

All of the police officers working for Eric don’t want him to be Chief, you are disparaging the name of someone who worked for thirty years as a teacher and cares deeply about creating a healthy community and providing the best services available to the town. I know you “don’t know and don’t care” about these things, but I just hope people who are reading this understand just how little you get what is actually going on.
