I got the craziest message yesterday afternoon, and after spending the majority of the evening hours verifying with my sources in Brockton, it appears to be the real thing.
That, folks, is allegedly Brady Carpenter, son of Brockton Mayor Bill Carpenter, smoking himself some crack.
Here he is in better days.
And wham, drugs are bad mmmmmkay.
Now the funny thing here is that usually, when we have someone smoking a whole bunch of crack (or something else on video,) we have a gaggle of arrest records to go with it. I scoured the Internet last night and could find NOTHING. I’ve been told he has had run-ins with the law, and that him being a junkie is the worst kept secret in Brockvegas, but where are the news clips? The police blotters? Anything? Don’t believe me? Go look.
A chief political figure’s kid being a junkie scumbag is big news, right? So what gives?
In my quest for articles on Brady, I found the most interesting thing. It seems that Carpenter tried to send his attack dog/campaign manager/lawyer Mark Lawton after Larry Boyd, the moderator of the Brockton Hub, threatening to shut it down because Bill didn’t like his constituents saying mean words about him. More specifically, the fact that this asshole went bankrupt. I shit you not.

I guess Bill Carpenter doesn’t like the first amendment. Too bad for him that we LOVE it here at Turtleboy Sports.
I’m wondering if the lack of reports/blotters is due to his father’s office and/or his brother William Carpenter’s position in the Brockton Police Department?
If you’ve got more information on this family I want you to message us. My interest has been perked and Turtle Silence can’t be bought. We are impossible to intimidate. Anything you give us is 100% anonymous and you shouldn’t be afraid to message us.
