Yesterday we blogged about the Inappropriate Mom Facebook page, which has almost a million followers and was previously suspended for nine months when their page was maliciously reported by trolls. They apparently think we are lying when we told them that our page was also maliciously reported by trolls.
We specifically asked turtle riders NOT to mass report their sexually suggestive Facebook posts because it could get their page suspended again.
But as usual, no one listens to us:

1) As much as IM should be considered an Ally, they have made their disinterest clear. Mass reporting their page for an erect snowman is immature and contradicts your very argument. At this point, you guys are just burning bridges. I say let bygones be bygones, and perhaps they will come to their senses at a later date
2) I think the lawsuit is a great idea and with solid legal representation will likely favor TBS. Censorship in America is such a widespread issue and yet it is vastly under-reported. A landmark legal case could be just what this country needs to shed light on this issue

I think there’s an understanding that we/ you [turtle riders in general but turtleboy as an entity in particular ] have to manage play on two different fields. There’s a level of play whilst dealing with a deep pocketed and heavily lawyered corporate entity that your average sketchy collision shop or local politician trailing in the polls simply doesn’t have. Brains, either. Absolutely no argument with the expose work; frankly the biblowgate series was dead nuts brilliant. And that was a well lawyered adversary. Imvho, there’s meat to the lawsuit. But it’s a meat that should be gently smoked rather than throwing the whole roast on the fire.

I wonder how many actually know the history of TBS and mass reporting on FB? Fact is, a few years ago TBS deliberately asked it’s readers to mass report a female artist’s page – and they even gave instructions on how to best falsely report – what categories to use, etc. Once this ended with a FB suspension, TBS started telling everyone *not* (wink wink) to falsely report.
But the fact is, screen shots were saved & sent to FB. FB knows the predatory and bullying behavior this site engages in. They have a trail linking TBS directly to abusive behavior.
SOOO… good luck with the law suit. Gonna piss away money and at the end of the day FB will win – not to mention the daily money being lost with the page suspension. Page views will be way down, advertisers will be backing out – it’s a vicious downward spiral, huh?

Always thought your “lawsuit” was a bit of a joke but I don’t know what you were thinking when you decided to go all good-rat and gather the troops to curb-stomp these people, especially after the gal told you how rough it was when you tried to enlist their help in this silly lawsuit.
What was the end-game here? How do you expect to gain other support for the “class action” lawsuit, which by the way, you will need unless you want to sue Facebook on your own where you would screw yourself in being able to remain anonymous. You almost come off like a two-bit wanna-be mafia clown trying to provide protection and breaking their knees if you don’t comply.
To be clear, I don’t agree that the lawsuit is necessarily a joke. I do think that Facebook should be held accountable if they violate their own standards. My complaint was with the tactics with which he went after the woman of this other Facebook page that got shut down.
The end game is to get our page back and have Facebook compensate us for violating the contract we signed. We expected to gain their support by getting their attention. It worked. We know what we’re doing. You don’t. But glad to have you aboard anyway.
