In the least predictable turn of events the Turtlegram and Gazette stole our story that we broke hours earlier about the Millville Police Chief getting detained by an Uxbridge cop while acting a fool in town.
Cyrus Moulton was the author this time. He is a thief, a liar, and a shitty reporter. We acquired the police report, we put the news out there, and then they went and got ahold of the same police report so they could pretend like they found it on their own. What a sad, pathetic excuse for a newspaper the Turtlegram and their legion of underqualified “reporters” continue to be.
Anyway, Chief Ronald Landry is a filthy liar. We know that now because he addressed his detainment with the Board of Selectmen at a meeting last week and contradicted the police report several times (he comes on at the 6:00 mark).
“I never identified myself as a police officer.”
Yea, actually, you did. Last and second to last paragraphs.
“During the struggle, Ronald unzipped his jacket slightly and showed he was wearing a police badge.”
“He asked me if I knew who he was. He then stated he was the chief of police of Millville.”
When the guy in charge of law enforcement in your town is a bold faced liar, how can anyone have faith in him?
“Somebody made phone calls to just about every media outlet there is.”
Yea, lucky for you nobody called Turtleboy until this week though.
“I reacted the way any normal person would react.”
Actually, you didn’t. Normal people don’t assault police officers and throw their dick around over a civil matter.
Every member of the board of selectmen and the town manager then lined up to tickle his balls.
“I’m of the opinion it doesn’t involve the town.”
“I think the chief needs to put some money in the swear jar.”
“He could’ve represented himself and said I’m the chief of police, he didn’t do that. True professionals act that way in my view.”
Except it does involve the town, since he stated he was the police chief from Millville. He DID do that, and it’s undeniable.
According to the Turtlegram Uxbridge Police Chief Marc Montminy was covering for him too.
Wait….hold on. January 20th the Turtlegram was texting with the Uxbridge police chief? Did Cyrus Moulton ever think to, ya know, pull the police report? Of course not. Because that would be actual fucking journalism. He’d rather just wait until Turtleboy did his work for him, and then pass it off as his own.
Remarkably the Turtlegram, the Uxbridge Police Chief, the Board of Selectmen, and the Town Manager weren’t the only people covering for him. So were the townsfolk.
How stupid do you have to be to read the Turtleboy article and then write those words? It says in plain English in the official police report that he showed the cop his badge. So I guess Turtleboy is lying AND the Uxbridge cop lied too.
Honestly, I could give a shit less about Millville and how they run their town because it’s one of the most irrelevant places on earth. But this police chief is obviously a corrupt liar who likes to use his badge to get away with crimes that anyone else would be arrested for. Like assaulting a cop.
