I have 2 cats myself, and they are pretty douchey. They walk around with their tails up, flashing their assholes at everyone. They knock shit off tables dressers whenever they are able, ignore me unless they want or need anything, and bully the dog. That being said, I’ve never gotten the level of pissed off about cats as this scum sucker was:

“Peter Rice, 43, of 37 Cabot St., pleaded not guilty to charges of animal cruelty, malicious injury to a domesticated animal and carrying a dangerous weapon during his arraignment Wednesday in Salem District Court. 

Rice was arrested Tuesday afternoon after a woman from Longmeadow called Salem police about text messages Rice had sent to her boyfriend, including an image of a kitten with a knife in its head. The woman forwarded the messages and image to Salem police. 

When police arrived at the apartment, they found Rice on the stairs. Rice repeatedly denied any knowledge of a cat. 

But inside the apartment, his girlfriend told officers that she had been frantically looking all over the apartment all morning for the cat, which, according to a prosecutor, she had been “cat sitting” for a neighbor. 

Police said they then asked Rice again where the cat was. 

Rice eventually admitted that he was playing a video game when the cat scratched his hand, prosecutor Haleigh Reisman told a judge. Rice then punched the cat, which appeared to convulse, then stabbed him one or two times, leaving the knife in the cat’s head. 

He took a photo and sent it to a friend, then dumped the kitten in a trash barrel, he told police. 

Rice told police he was unsure of the location of the barrel because he was “wasted.” “

Now, full disclosure, this guy is apparently a marine veteran. Turtleboy definitely supports the troops, because we enjoy the prosperity and freedoms afforded to us in this country as much as the next guy. But, military or not, if your reaction to a small, relatively defenseless baby animal scratching your hand is to go full Rambo and stab the thing to death, then take a picture and send it to your buddy, and walk a block over to dumb the body with the knife still embedded in its tiny skull, you’re officially a fucking psychopath. What did he think was going to happen, sending someone a photo? Unless he’s part of some underground aspiring serial killer’s club, it’s pretty obvious that wasn’t going to help him get away with this one.

And, predictably enough….

“Prosecutors are also seeking the revocation of Rice’s bail in a domestic abuse case brought against him last month involving his girlfriend.”

Because statistics say, if you’re cruel to animals, you’re probably a batterer, too. Don’t shoot the messenger here, it’s just science.

The worst part of this to me, besides the Alfred Hitchcockesque nightmare end to that kitten, was this bright idea I found on Psycho Pete’s Facebook page:

Yeah, because judging by this chud’s level of patience and care with a baby cat, literally the most Independent house pet you can have outside of a fucking goldfish, they’d make super great parents. I don’t think so, kitten killer.
